Founders Day Race
Arundel Yacht Club will sponsor the
Founders Day Race on

The race is open to all interested sailors
regardless of AYC membership.

The race will start at approximately 1130 hours
EDT and will be a pursuit format.

ENTRY AND FEES
Entries must be made on the official entry form. The fee of $35.00 payable to AYC must accompany your entry form. Entries must be received by TBD, @ 0900 EDT, or mailed to: AYC - FD Race, c/o Charlie Barker, PO Box 328, Kennebunkport, ME 04046
SCHEDULE
0830 EDT Skippers meeting (Ropewalk)
1130 EDT First Boat starts (pursuit start)
COURSE
Starting Line: Between FL 1 Bell and Committee boat. (Keep bell to Starboard side.
1st Mark: Around 1st upwind mark. Keep to Port (Keep mark to Starboard)
2nd Mark: Keep to port (Keep mark to Starboard) RW "PC" bell off Perkins Cove
Finish Line: Between FL 1 and committee boat Keep bell to Port side)
OR In the event of NO committee boat:
When passing FL 1 bell on port side, record your own time when you are aligned with Bell and Blinking light at entrance to river and withing 50 yards of the Bell.
Total distance: approximately 18 miles
In the event of adverse sailing conditions, an alternative course may be decided upon by the race participants at the Skipper's meeting on June 24th.

PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to 1st , 2nd , and 3rd place finishers. Winners will be announced at AYC Ropewalk 1 hour after the last boat arrives at AYC.
